ATAMUN
ATAMUN has been established within the mission of developing a qualified generation to speak the unspoken in 2017. Since then, ATAMUN by Atakum Anatolian İmam Hatip High School, continues to be a centre for language teaching, solution-making, and merging the present and the future in the hands of the passionate ATAMUN team. As the ATAMUN team, we are proud to have been organising the Model United Nations Conference, known worldwide as MUN, under the name of ATAMUN for seven years with an experienced and dedicated team. Almost every year, with the sense of responsibility assumed by our students, participants from across the country discuss various topics in English, Arabic, and Turkish. ATAMUN is not just an event where young people come together to improve their language skills and socialise and have fun for four days; beyond that, it answers the question of how the student and teacher team can raise a generation that gives voice to the oppressed. The topics to be discussed in the committees are carefully selected, taking into consideration how we can positively influence the awareness and sense of justice of our youth. As a school and team carrying the ideal of providing a fairer world, we pay great attention to detail in this event and strive to do the best possible.
